You would think that if the Blues are able to keep hold of the talented midfielder beyond this summer, then there will be further opportunities for him in a first-team capacity.

Maxime Colin has a contract that is set to expire in the summer and if the Blues, or the defender himself, opts to move on for pastures new, then there could be a big opportunity for Williams to come in and see more opportunities with the Blues at first-team level.
